Cheswick
Christian Academy was established in 1978 to provide a Christian
alternative to public school education. We view Christian education as
a mission. Our teachers and supporting staff have as their unofficial
motto, "The head of a scholar, the heart of a servant, the purse of a
missionary." All of us are here because we consider it a calling, not
a means of financial gain.
The
Academy educates children from the age of five up through graduating
high school seniors, with the twin goals of teaching both academics and
Christian living in a traditional school setting. CCA graduates have
gone on to colleges, universities, business schools, and successful
vocations. Some have even returned to the Academy with teaching
degrees to continue the task of educating youth. Curriculum includes
all necessary academics, not only for graduation, but for college
admission. All of our teachers are college-educated; five have
master's degrees in their fields.
The
Academy is the primary ministry of Cheswick Christian Fellowship, a
non-denominational church pastored by Bob Rosio, the founder of the
school.
